Job summary

Staff Nurse – Welfare Home is required in Woodlands/Buangkok to provide nursing care for residents. You will work 12-hour day shifts, 4 days a week, including weekends and public holidays, with supervision by doctors and the head nurse.

The role involves monitoring residents' health, carrying out medical services, and assisting in emergencies, while supervising nursing aides and health attendants in daily routines.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• State Registered Nurse with a valid certificate by the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Ability to carry out preventive and curative medical services under the guidance of the doctor and head nurse.
• Ability to act accordingly in medical emergencies.
• Ability to monitor vital signs.
• Ability to assist in residents personal grooming and personal hygiene.

12 hours shift - 7.30am to 7.30pm

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Daily Duties

• Carry out preventive and curative medical services under the guidance of the doctor and head nurse
• Oversee the general health of the residents, participate in and supervise medical and nursing care routine
• Supervise and assess the performance of nursing aides and health attendants
• Assist and carry out emergency situations in the Home.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a diploma, degree, professional degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Candidate must be a State Registered Nurse with a valid certificate by the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Ability to carry out preventive and curative medical services under the guidance of the doctor and head nurse.
• Ability to act accordingly in medical emergencies.
• Ability to monitor vital Signs.
• Ability to assist in residents personal grooming and personal hygiene issues.
