Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company is seeking a senior engineering leader for its Singapore location to drive product development from concept to launch within a phase-gate process. You will work with cross-functional teams across engineering, design, and manufacturing to deliver safe, compliant medical devices.

The role requires a strong background in mechanical/electrical systems, regulatory knowledge, and experience managing complex multi-site programs in Asia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related engineering field.
• 8+ years of product development experience in medical devices or regulated industry.
• Proven track record of taking products from concept to launch under a phase-gate process.
• At least 3 years leading cross-functional projects or core teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify unmet clinical and customer needs with Commercial/Marketing to develop product concepts and proposals.
• Lead technical direction, feasibility studies, risk assessments, and design verification/validation activities.
• Oversee multi-project plans, budgets, and resource plans across businesses.
