Job summary

BD is seeking an motivated R&D Engineer to join the Product Development team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Singapore. The role involves hands-on medical device development, cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Manufacturing, Quality and Regulatory, and contributions to design verification, testing and product commercialization.

Ideal candidates have a technical engineering background, strong analytical skills, and the desire to work in a highly regulated medical device environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Materials, Manufacturing or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support early-stage product development from concept through commercialization.
• Translate requirements into engineering solutions and test plans.
• Design, plan and execute experiments to evaluate product concepts.
