Job summary

WhiteCrow Research is seeking a Staff Engineer, Electrical – Global Facilities Engineering to oversee electrical systems across our worldwide facilities. This role drives engineering standards, reviews, and reliability improvements while supporting major design and construction projects globally.

The candidate will mentor junior engineers, lead capacity analyses, and advance sustainability and AI-enabled analytical approaches within engineering workflows. PE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10–13 years of relevant experience in semiconductor or industrial facilities.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for electrical systems across global facilities.
• Develop and govern global engineering standards and BKMs.
• Lead design reviews to align with global requirements.
• Improve system reliability, cost efficiency, and maintainability.
• Support large-scale design and construction projects worldwide.
• Perform system studies, capacity analysis, and evaluations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on engineering solutions.

• Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for electrical systems across global facilities.
• Developing and governing global engineering standards, specifications, and BKMs.
• Leading design reviews, ensuring alignment with global requirements and best practices.
• Driving improvements in system reliability, cost efficiency, and maintainability.
• Supporting large-scale design and construction projects globally.
• Conducting system studies, capacity analysis, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to align engineering solutions.

Other Responsibilities

• Leading root cause analysis for major system issues.
• Mentoring junior engineers and guide technical development.
• Supporting sustainability and energy optimization initiatives.

AI Responsibilities

What you already have...

Minimum Required Qualifications/Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10–13 years of relevant experience in semiconductor or industrial facilities.

Must Have Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in electrical distribution systems (HV/MV/LV).
• Experience with critical systems (UPS, generators, sag mitigation).
• Proficiency in system modeling, analysis, and reliability engineering.
• Experience in design review and construction project support.

Must Have Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and influencing skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to prioritize and drive multiple initiatives concurrently.
• Strategic problem-solving capability.
• AI Requirements
• Ability to leverage AI tools for engineering analysis, operational improvements, and reporting.
