Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into Axiom, with a role for a Staff Thermal Engineer based in Kallang, Singapore. The position focuses on designing and validating thermal architectures for high‑density power modules and energy storage products, coordinating with internal teams and suppliers.

You will analyze feasibility, perform thermal and acoustic estimation, and research new thermal technologies to meet product requirements while collaborating across EMC,

Qualifications

• Analyze and evaluate the feasibility of thermal design architecture.
• Perform thermal/acoustic estimation/verification against product requirements.
• Research/implement new thermal technologies for high density powermodule and energy storage products.
• In charge of supplier management and cross functional communication.
• Manage technical projects and collaborate with internal teams through development cycles.
• Collaborate with design teams to resolve trade-offs between thermal and other disciplines.

Responsabilités

• Keep up to date on appropriate standards and test methodologies.
• Review of design for thermal strategy and implementation.
• Support execution of the project from concept to validation.
• Coordinate with EMC, SI, and PCB design teams to align thermal goals.
• Assist with supplier selection and qualification processes.
• Provide technical input to ensure reliability and performance of thermal systems.

Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

What a typical day looks like:

• Analyze and evaluate the feasibility of thermal design architecture.

• Perform thermal/acoustic estimation/verification against product requirements.

• Research/implement new thermal technologies for high density powermoduleand energy storage products.

• In charge of supplier management and cross functional communication.

• Manage technical projects and collaborate with other internal teams andto supportthe execution process throughoutdevelopmentcycle.
