Ambiq Micro, Inc. seeks a Staff Applications Software Engineer to support Apollo and Atomiq SoCs. You will work with hardware and software teams to develop software, drivers, and example applications for evaluation hardware and customers.

As the Staff Applications Software Engineer at Ambiq , you will be responsible for supporting Ambiq’s Apollo and Atomiq families of SoCs.
This role will workwith our hardware and software development teams, field engineering team, and customers todevelopsoftware, includingexample applications forAmbiqand customer evaluation hardware,device drivers, HAL updates, and Zephyr enablement. In addition, the Software Engineer willdebug device level software issues, support field engineering with customer issues, andhelpcreatecustomer-facing documentation such as application notes and software design guidelines.
The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of embedded development on Cortex-M MCUs, bare-metal and real-time operating systems, and be familiar with debugging the same . They must possess strong written and oral communication skills.
The person in this role will be responsible for supporting Ambiq’s field engineering team and customers, coordinating with the global team to make improvements and fix customer issues, and extending Ambiq's offerings with new software examples, application notes, and software design guidelines.
