Job summary

Micron Singapore Bendemeer (MSB) invites an intern to join the Solid State Drive Manufacturing Operations team. You will apply industrial engineering, lean manufacturing, and data analytics to boost productivity and efficiency.

The role covers Front End of Line to Configure-to-Order operations, with opportunities to use AI-enabled analytics tools and dashboards. Five months full-time, with potential for future employment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or data analytics.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manufacturing time studies and observe processes to identify wastes.
• Analyze layouts, material flow, logistics, and ergonomic conditions.
• Evaluate process quality, capacity, utilization, and throughput.
• Develop dashboards using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or AI tools.
• Propose data-driven improvement plans and implementation steps.
