Job summary

Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) is inviting a role to contribute to Singapore’s transition to a green economy through sustainability reporting and assurance. You will help shape policy development and standards, implement the SRA roadmap for listed and non-listed companies, and engage with stakeholders to build SRA expertise locally and internationally.

You should have at least 6 years in related fields, with qualifications and experience in carbon accounting, sustainability

Qualifications

• Professional qualifications in related fields.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in carbon accounting, sustainability reporting and assurance is a plus.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to innovate and solve problems creatively.

Responsibilities

• Implementing and shaping the SRA roadmap for Singapore-listed and non-listed companies.

• Enable digital preparation, filing and consumption of SR information in Singapore.

Job description

What the role is:

Are you looking to contribute to Singapore’s transition to a green economy, and support our companies' climate mitigation and adaptation journey through sustainability reporting?ACRA has launched Singapore's sustainability reporting and assurance (SRA) roadmap in 2024, and we welcome you to join ACRA's Sustainability Reporting Office to shape the SRA landscape in Singapore through policy development and standard setting.

What you will be working on:

• Implementing SRA roadmap for listed and non-listed companies incorporated in Singapore. The roadmap includes carrying out legislative changes, adopting international SRA standards for use in Singapore, registering climate auditors, and developing compliance strategy (including preparing companies and auditors to comply with SRA standards).
• Contributing to the international standard setting of SRA standards/frameworks and providing thought-leadership on corporate disclosures and other regulatory requirements;
• Enabling digital preparation, filing and consumption of SR information in Singapore; and
• Partnering stakeholders in our corporate reporting eco-system to build SRA expertise locally and abroad.

What we are looking for:

• Keen interest and passion for shaping policies and landscape relating to SRA.
• Professional qualifications in related fields.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience. Experience in areas such as carbon accounting, sustainability reporting and assurance and regulations will be an advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to innovate and be creative in problem-solving.
