Job summary

Salesforce is expanding its Hyperforce on Alibaba Cloud Production Support Engineering, seeking experienced SRE/DevOps engineers with a strong automation mindset to deliver reliable, scalable systems.

You will troubleshoot complex outages across Java applications and infrastructure, design observability tooling, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and incident response. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
5+ years infrastructure and applications systems engineering experience in enterprise-scale Internet services.
5+ years configuring and managing Public Clouds using CLI/SDKs (Alibaba or AWS preferred).
5+ years experience in Java, Python, or Go.
Experience in Unix/Linux environments with OS internals.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and load balancing.
Experience in monitoring/alerting design principles.
Ability to handle high-pressure incidents and multiple priorities.
Strong problem-solving with ownership and drive.
Experience leading complex troubleshooting and cross-product incidents.
Strong English and Mandarin communication skills.

Responsibilities

Detect, investigate and resolve system failures and outages across infrastructure and Java applications.
Develop observability tooling and improve service reliability.
Coordinate with Infrastructure, Engineering and Support to resolve incidents and drive improvements.
Improve service design, monitoring and automation for large-scale production environments.
Lead postmortem reviews and drive cross-team collaboration to prevent recurrence.
