Job summary

Quasar Medical (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a high-volume manufacturing team in Singapore. You will oversee safety, quality, and production performance on the shop floor, ensuring on-time delivery and line stability.

The role requires a diploma or certificate in a technical field and 2–3 years of lead or supervisory experience in medical device manufacturing. Strong communication, leadership, and computer literacy with MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in technical field; BS preferred.
• 2–3 years lead or supervisory experience in high-volume production (medical devices preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production safety, enforce 6S, and support HSE programs.
• Supervise assemblers and team leaders; coach and motivate.
• Plan production per schedule and monitor progress toward KPIs.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve defects and implement corrective actions.
• Manage resources including manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain production records and documentation accuracy.
• Drive kaizen and efficiency improvements to reduce scrap and costs.
• Support company activities and programs.

Job Summary:

Ensure production line produce top quality products and delivery on time, ensure operation normally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Monitor the production safety and discipline of production area. Involve and support Health and Safety programs (DWB, BBS, H&S meetings).
• Monitor operator’s daily work in workshop; Manage the discipline and 6S in production section.
• Arrange the production according to production plan, and monitor the progress.
• Drive department performance to meet Production KPI’s may include but not limited to Materials Accuracy, Yield, Efficiency and Productivity.
• Troubleshooting and promptly feedback to superior.
• Coordinate with other departments to analyze the root cause of defective products, and take corrective and preventive action to avoid the same problem happen repeatedly.
• Responsible for the allocation of resource for production lines, including manpower, equipment, materials
• Monitor’s records/ database and document management in production line integrity, accuracy and effectiveness.
• Propose kaizen suggestions, optimize production line, promote efficiency, and reduce scrap and costs.
• Deal with other assignments assigned by superior.
• Supervise assemblers and Team Leaders. Motivate, coach, and support the team in meeting the expectations
• Participate and encourage the team to support company activities and program

Education/Experience and Qualifications:

• Diploma or certificate in technical field or equivalent work experience, BS preferred, with 2-3yrs lead or supervisory experience in a high-volume production environment, preferably in Medical Device Manufacturing.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrate leadership capabilities and possess the ability to lead a team of product builders
