At the Senior Engineer level the expectation is that the employee can solve tasks with higher complexity and knows how the overall value chain works to enable them to discover improvement opportunities outside their area as well. Stay within the frame they have been given and when cases exceed own area, they need to present their findings to management to ensure link to cross-functional processes and strategies. They are welcome to support the initiative, but higher skylines should take the lead. At Senior Engineer level they must take in responsibility in team activities and ensure coherence within the team since they are role models for many other colleagues.
