Senior FE Central Quality Engineer
As a Micron Global Quality FE Central (Senior) QE Product Engineer, you will be a member of the worldwide quality team, responsible for driving quality and reliability initiatives into the FE manufacturing network for high‑bandwidth memory (HBM) products used in critical customer AI applications.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Develop, manage, and communicate a quality strategy with line‑of‑sight metrics and goals to monitor execution health.
- Lead cross‑functional initiatives or enabling projects that support FE manufacturing leadership and company‑wide quality objectives.
- Establish quality‑related programs and initiatives to support critical network expansion (e.g., Singapore HBM expansion, Boise ID1 new tech node setup).
- Leverage Micron‑approved AI tools and data‑driven methodologies to enhance engineering effectiveness, accelerate learning cycles, and improve quality decision‑making.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities for AI‑enabled process improvements that enhance product quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Provide Tactical Support
- Develop and drive compliance in global business processes related to product quality.
- Work with cross‑functional teams to develop and deploy BKMs of BE to FE teamwork processes such as WL DPM forecast and RMA DPM reduction.
- Serve as SME in reliability fail modes for the FE quality team and engage in quality projects for overall DPM reduction.
- Collaborate with fab teams to act on and provide corrective and preventive actions regarding customer feedback on quality and product issues.
- Work with Central PIE to ensure fast internal DPM reduction during tech node ramping.
Qualifications
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to lead large network discussions.
- Strong project management and problem‑solving skills.
- Data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills are a plus.
- Expertise in frontend manufacturing processes, frontend/backend test flows, methodologies, and product fail modes is a plus.
- Knowledge of DRAM products is a plus.
- Proficiency in English for verbal and written communication.
- Experience using AI‑enabled productivity tools, data analytics platforms, or automation solutions to improve engineering workflows.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or a related field of study.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor company product quality assurance, process integration, product engineering, or product yield enhancement related areas.
