Responsibilities

  • Monitor and improve Quality and Reliability for products from Fab, including wafer level reliability sampling for Outgoing Quality Control.
  • Collect wafer level reliability data and drive fab activities to improve reliability performance.
  • Ensure reliability and quality indicators (OQRM, Probe, Parametric, Inline metrics) meet goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality metrics (Product Grades, High Stack Eligibility).
  • Fab representative to respond and drive resolution to Customer Issues/RMA.
  • Support Risk Assessment for excursion materials and manage MRB process with Global Quality team.
  • Manage follow-on qualification activities during HVM.
  • Work with global teams to meet critical product milestones.
  • Lead or participate in Site Quality Programs and Defense Line Initiatives.
  • Integrate AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness.
  • Identify, test, and share AI-enabled enhancements within scope.

Job Description: As a QEM PQE Quality engineer, you will be responsible to monitor and drive continuous improvement for the quality and reliability of cutting-edge memory/storage products manufactured in Fab10. Support the wafer manufacturing efforts for developing, validating, characterizing, and qualifying new products, enabling volume manufacturing with improved reliability performance to fulfill customer requirements. Leverage the knowledge of electrical operation and wafer fabrication technology of advanced NAND memory products to conduct root cause understanding for reliability failures or customer returns, and facilitate the implementation of required Fab specifications and documentation to ensure product quality meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Job Responsibility:
  • Responsible for monitoring and improving Quality and Reliability for products out of Fab, including wafer level reliability sampling for Outgoing Quality Control.
  • Responsible to collect wafer level reliability data, manage various Reliability scorecard, and drive fab activities to improve Reliability performance (Extrinsic, Intrinsic, Process) for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure proper reliability and quality indicators including OQRM, Probe, Parametric, and Inline metrics are in place and meeting goals.
  • Drive for continuous improvement in quality metrics, such as Product Grades, High Stack Eligibility.
  • Fab representative to respond and drive resolution to Customer Issues/RMA.
  • Support Risk Assessment for excursion materials, work closely with Global Quality team to manage the MRB process.
  • Manage follow-on qualification activities during HVM.
  • Work closely with the global teams to ensure critical product milestones are met.
  • Lead/Participate in Site Quality Programs and Defense Line Initiatives.
  • Build strong partnership with Global Quality/PE teams.
  • Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
  • Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or advanced degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Good understanding of CMOS device physics is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of NAND devices operations is an added advantage

  • Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role‑appropriate AI literacy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
