Job summary

Air Liquide Singapore Private Limited (ALSg) is seeking a Sr. Engineer, Strategic Planning (Fixed Term) in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or other technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in project management/cost control/strategic planning in industrial activities.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to handle complex data and numbers.
• Experience creating and managing dashboards for budget tracking, cost monitoring, and trend reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internally and support BD in competitive economical & technical costing/solutions compliant with specifications and AL rules.
• Develop mutually beneficial technical proposals/commercial offers to customers.
• Support risk assessment, scope clarification, and provide technical input to ensure safe, reliable offers.
• Coordinate with Strategic Planning Manager on problem solving, resourcing and budgeting activities.
• Develop and implement project budget control strategies for specialty gas & chemical equipment.
• Ensure alignment of project procurement plans with budget allocations and cost efficiency.
• Produce periodic reports on budget performance, cost trends, and procurement efficiency.
