• Hands-on Data Governance experience including Data Quality Management, Data Ownership, and Data Stewardship.
• Strong business analysis skills: requirements gathering, gap analysis, impact assessment, and UAT support.
• Advanced SQL to analyse, validate, and reconcile large datasets.
• Experience with Power BI and Tableau for data visualisation.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing, MDM, Data Mapping, Data Profiling, and Data Discovery.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Experience designing data models (conceptual/logical/physical).
• Experience delivering project artifacts: BRD, FSD, data quality reports, glossaries, dashboards.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication in English.
• Familiarity with Python, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, JIRA, Confluence, Visio; Agile/Scrum a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with experience supporting regional or global transformation initiatives.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Management, Data Analysis, and Data Modelling, preferably within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.
• Hands-on experience in Data Governance, including Data Quality Management, Data Ownership, Data Stewardship, Data Standards, and Data Lineage.
• Strong business analysis capabilities, including requirements gathering, gap analysis, impact assessment, process analysis, and UAT support.
• Advanced SQL expertise with the ability to analyse, validate, and reconcile large and complex datasets.
• Experience with data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Master Data Management (MDM), Data Mapping, Data Profiling, and Data Discovery.
• Proven ability to analyse complex data structures, business processes, and end-to-end data flows across multiple systems.
• Experience designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models and translating business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Ability to independently produce and manage project deliverables, including Data Models, Data Dictionaries, Data Mapping Specifications, Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Data Quality Assessment Reports, Data Governance Documents, Business Glossaries, Data Flow Diagrams, Impact Assessment Documents, UAT Scenarios and Test Cases, Executive Reports, and Management Dashboards.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively across Business, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present information effectively to both business and technical audiences.
• Hands-on and delivery-focused, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive workstreams with minimal supervision.
• Strong ownership, accountability, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with Python, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Agile/Scrum methodologies will be an added advantage.
