Job summary

DBS Bank Asia Hub in Singapore seeks a highly skilled Network Specialist to manage Cisco Routers, Nexus, Arista VxLAN, routing and switching, VPNs and related security services. You will ensure stability, security and performance of the bank's network across data centers and enterprise environments.

You will work with vendors and internal teams, implement scripts, perform patching, and participate in CR windows while adhering to bank policies. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing enterprise networks with relevant certifications.
• Ability to configure Cisco IOS/NX-OS and implement security configurations.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Routers/Nexus, Arista VxLAN, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of scripting and basic network automation.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Specialist with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in Cisco Routers, Cisco Nexus, Arista VxLAN, Routing and Switching technologies, AnyConnect VPN, and Cisco ASA. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management of network activities, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our network infrastructure across various environments, including data centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Operations & Management:

  • Manage daily network activities, including assessing requests from business units (BU) or lines of business (LOBT) and preparing implementation scripts that align with established network standards.
  • Provide essential support for incident and problem troubleshooting, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on operations.
  • Conduct vulnerability reviews, assessments, and plan and execute patching or firmware upgrades for network devices to maintain security and performance.
  • Collaborate with network vendors, telco providers, and external partners to ensure seamless operations and meet project requirements.
  • Attend conference calls with other support teams and partners for deployment, incident support, and resolutions as required.
  • Support external connectivities in data centers, working closely with partners.
  • Be available to support during CR green zone windows for implementing changes and deployments, both remotely and directly in data centers.
  • Adhere strictly to the processes and policies of the Bank.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently and with team
  • Must have basic knowledge and experience in scripting and network automation.

Requirement

• Strong experince in managing enterprise network with certifications of CCNA/CCNP or CCIE
• Ability to configure Cisco IOS and NX-OS settings for Cisco Routers and Nexus Switches, including implementing security configurations and managing network connections.
• Must have good hands-on experience in Cisco Routers, Cisco Nexus, Arista VxLAN, Routing and Switching technologies, AnyConnect VPN, and Cisco ASA, security enforcement, and management across various network infrastructures.
• Must have depth knowledge to prepare configuration scripts in Cisco IOS, NXOS, ASA VPN, Arista EOS, Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies like OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, EVPN VxLAN, STP, RSTP, IPSEC VPN, Cisco AnyConnect VPN
• Configure Cisco ASA for remote access VPN services (AnyConnect VPN, IPsec Tunnel), ensuring the use of secure protocols for confidentiality and encryption
• Should have basic understanding and knowledge of CDN, DDOS, DNS, F5 GTM & LTM, Palto Alto & Checkpoint firewalls
