Job summary

Swiss Precision Industries Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an operator to set up tooling and run the Precision Spring machine per weekly plans. You will program and operate the machine, resolve burrs, and liaise with QA to qualify set-ups. Daily records, material handling, and adherence to safety rules are essential.

The role requires reading drawings, basic safety awareness, and the ability to work in a team with a positive attitude. Prior Itaya machine experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum N level or equivalent
• NTC 3 in any discipline preferred
• Spring process & operational understanding; ability to interpret drawings
• 2 years’ experience with Itaya machine preferred
• Physically strong, team player, able to follow instructions

Responsibilities

• Set up tooling and run machine according to weekly plan
• Operate and program the Precision Spring machine
• Resolve arbor/cutter burrs and assist QA for qualification
• Maintain daily production records (timesheets, utilization, rejects)
• Follow safety rules and proper packaging/lot size per process spec
• Close production orders and return materials
• Update daily production records and logs

Job description

Job Description:

• Perform tooling set up the machine as per the weekly planned schedule and run the machine according to the quantity planned.
• Operate and run the Precision Spring machine with programming.
• Able to resolve the arbor/ cutter burr.
• Liaise with QA for qualification of set‑ups and works in progress.
• Perform daily machine inspection and record as per Work Instructions.
• Requisite material as per planned production order for daily activities.
• Change material coils and proper scan & record without error.
• Closure of production order and material return.
• Update daily production records such as machine timesheet, machine utilization, and rejects.
• Adhering to customer MSA as a guide in terms of SPM, lubrication in use, packaging, quantity in lot size based on Production Process Spec
• Before up the tool, ensure the job order material requires sufficient.
• Ensure compliance with the safety rule like changing coil must wear the glove
• Any other duties as assigned by superior and/or management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 'N' level
• NTC 3 in any discipline (preferred).
• Spring process & operational understanding in the machines handled. Basic safety awareness in manufacturing. Ability to interpret drawings, understanding of records updating.
• Ability to handle Precision Spring machine. (Preferred to have 2 years’ experience with the Itaya machine).
• Physically strong, positive attitude, ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
