Job summary

BIHQ PTE. LTD. is seeking a design team member to develop creative concepts for high-quality sportswear, activewear, and performance wear. You will guide ideas from sketches to physical and digital samples for pitches and analysis.

You will support the team across diverse projects, taking concepts from sketches to samples, with a strong emphasis on design theory and technical accuracy. Travel may be required for design off-sites and fittings as part of a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Fashion/Sportswear Design required
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
• Relevant work experience in a Fashion Design/Technical or Proficiency 3D platforms (Clo/ Browzwear) role is a bonus
• Strong technical foundation in apparel construction, patterns and textiles

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm and research to create seasonal apparel collections based on market trends, brands, and customer personas
• Stay up-to-date on trends, colors, fabrics, trims, technology, and sports-related products
• Manage the design process from conceptualization to final styling and product development
• Be accountable for the creative approach and development of collections
• Prepare moodboards, designs, sketches, and technical packs for collection development
• Create initial designs via sketches, 3D, or mock-ups for alignment with expectations
• Assist in preparation of product information through detailed drawings with accurate measurements
• Ensure feasibility and precision from development to bulk
• Review and develop fitting prototypes and samples and communicate changes
• Maintain close teamwork with in-house production for seamless execution
• Attend style fittings and provide input and feedback
• Work on technical measurements, sampling, and testing to ensure fit and quality
• Prepare presentations and assist in set up of Spectrum and Concept presentations
• Communicate and present design concepts clearly and professionally
• Collaborate effectively in a team and adapt to changes in responsibilities
• Willingness to take on additional projects and tasks as assigned
• Ability to work independently and as a team, multi-task, and meet tight deadlines
• Be self-motivated, creative, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
• Maintain a composed and professional demeanor in dynamic environments
