KidsFirst Singapore is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist in Singapore to provide comprehensive assessments and evidence-based therapy for children aged 2 to 12 with diverse communication and developmental needs.

The role is hybrid with some work-from-home tasks; you will work with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists; you will document progress and communicate with families to support home carryover.

Qualifications

  • Must hold degree in Speech-Language Pathology and be eligible for registration.
  • Experience with pediatric populations and early intervention.
  • Knowledge of dysphagia management preferred.
  • Good collaboration and family education skills.
  • Comfort with telepractice when needed.

Company Description

KidsFirst Singapore is an early intervention center dedicated to supporting children with special needs through integrated speech and occupational therapy. The center provides an optimal learning environment for children aged 2 to 12 with a range of developmental and communication challenges, including Autism, language delays, global developmental delay, cerebral palsy, ADHD, and Down syndrome. Clinic-based pediatric therapy programs span multiple disciplines and support children from birth through age 17 in achieving social-emotional, language and communication, cognitive, and physical milestones. All interventions are grounded in evidence-based practice, ensuring high-quality, family-centered care. KidsFirst is recognized as the HoneyKids Asia Gold Winner for Best Early Intervention Centre 2023.

Role Description

This is a full-time Speech Language Pathologist role based in Singapore, offered on a hybrid work arrangement with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks. The Speech Language Pathologist will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy for children with a variety of communication and developmental needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing clinic-based individual and group therapy sessions, collaborating with occupational therapists to offer integrated interventions, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation and progress reports. The role involves regular communication with families and caregivers to provide education, discuss goals, and support home-based carryover of strategies. The Speech Language Pathologist will also participate in team meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary planning, and stay current with best practices and professional guidelines.

Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Speech Therapy, including assessment and intervention across pediatric populations.
  • Expertise in Speech and Communication Disorders, with experience supporting children with diverse developmental profiles.
  • Knowledge of Language Disorders and evidence-based approaches to language development and rehabilitation.
  • Experience in managing Dysphagia in children, including safe feeding and swallowing strategies (preferred).
  • Recognized degree or master’s in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent; eligibility for professional registration in Singapore or relevant jurisdiction.
  • Experience working in pediatric or early intervention settings, ideally with neurodiverse children and those with multiple diagnoses.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with families and caregivers.
  • Strong documentation, time management, and organizational skills, with comfort using digital tools and telepractice when needed.
