Emerson Asia Pacific Private Limited is seeking a Specification Analyst to provide technical expertise on pressure relief valves and special process requirements across project execution. You will interpret customer specifications, identify risks, and guide technical discussions with customers, facilities, and vendors.

You will review procedures, develop addenda for manufacturing processes, and ensure alignment with codes and standards while promoting teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with special processes in oil and gas, energy, industrial or related sectors.
• Experience supporting welding, coating, heat treatment, casting, material testing, NDE or similar special processes.
• Strong knowledge of ASME BPVC, Sections II, V, VIII, IX.
• Understanding of NORSOK M-501 requirements and their application to project specifications.
• Ability to review, interpret, and apply technical specs, standards, codes, and customer requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with ambiguity.
• Effective written and verbal communication across multicultural teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Commitment to teamwork, quality, customer focus and continuous learning.

Aufgaben

• Review customer and project specifications related to special processes and identify requirements, risks, and clarification opportunities.
• Recommend practical alternatives, deviations, or clarifications while aligning with industry codes and customer expectations.
• Consolidate project requirements after PO receipt and reconcile quotes, qualifications, and agreements.
• Collaborate with quotation and project teams to develop accurate sales order documentation communicating requirements.
• Support discussions with customers, facilities, and vendors to align on special process requirements and provide guidance.
• Develop project-specific addenda to manufacturing procedures (material testing, heat treatment, welding, NDE, etc.).
• Review customer comments on procedures and coordinate clarifications for timely documentation approval.
• Create procedures or specifications when existing docs don’t meet project needs.
• Support project management and operational excellence through additional activities and expertise.
• Promote safety, quality, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

In this Role, YourResponsibilities Will Be:

• - Review customer and project specificationsrelated to special processes and identify applicable requirements, potentialrisks, and opportunities for clarification.
• - Recommend practical alternatives, deviations,exceptions, or clarifications while ensuring alignment with applicable industrycodes and customer expectations.
• - Consolidate project requirements upon receiptof purchase orders and reconcile differences between quotations, technicalqualifications, contractual requirements, and project agreements.
• - Collaborate with quotation and project teamsto develop accurate sales order documentation that clearly communicatescustomer and project requirements.
• - Support technical discussions, correspondence,and meetings with customers, manufacturing facilities, and vendors to ensurealignment on special process requirements and provide technical guidance tosupport project execution.
• - Develop project-specific addenda tomanufacturing procedures covering areas such as material testing, heattreatment, welding, painting, non-destructive examination (NDE), and otherspecial processes.
• - Review customer comments on procedures andcoordinate technical clarifications with stakeholders to support timelydocumentation approval.
• - Create procedures or specifications whenexisting documentation does not adequately address project requirements.
• - Support project management and operationalexcellence initiatives through additional project-related activities andtechnical expertise.
• - Promote a culture of safety, quality,continuous improvement, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• - Experience working with special processeswithin the oil and gas, energy, industrial, or related sectors.
• - Experience supporting activities involvingwelding, coating, heat treatment, casting, material testing, NDE, or similarspecial processes.
• - Strong knowledge of ASME Boiler and PressureVessel Code (ASME BPVC), including Sections II, V, VIII, and IX.
• - Understanding of NORSOK M-501 requirements andtheir application to project specifications.
• - Ability to review, interpret, and applytechnical specifications, standards, codes, and customer requirements.
• - Strong analytical, problem-solving, andcritical-thinking skills.

• - Experience coordinating technical requirementsamong customers, suppliers, and manufacturing facilities.
• - Ability to develop or improve technicalprocedures, specifications, and process documentation.
