MTC Consulting PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a results-driven Business Development professional to drive product specifications in the construction sector.

You will build relationships with architects, consultants, developers, contractors and authorities to secure approvals and specifications during design. The role involves tracking project pipelines, converting specifications into projects, supporting marketing activities at seminars and trade shows, and providing market insights to guide

Qualifications

• Diploma in Structural/ Civil/ Building or related field.
• Experience in product or system specification in construction industry.
• Knowledge of Southeast Asia construction practices and regs.
• Extensive network with architects and developers.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specs.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel for meetings and site visits.
• Valid driving license and own vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with architects, consultants, developers, contractors, and authorities to secure product specifications and approvals during the design stage.
• Track project pipelines and follow up to convert specifications into confirmed projects.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on project progress, market activities, and new business opportunities.
• Support marketing and sales activities by organizing seminars, participating in trade shows, and promoting company products and brand.
• Conduct market research to identify business growth opportunities and support expansion strategies.
• Work with the R&D team to provide market insights, customer needs, and industry trends for new product development and pricing strategies.
• Monitor competitors' products, market share, strengths, and weaknesses, and recommend strategies to improve competitiveness.
• Achieve assigned project specification targets and business objectives.
