Job summary

ResMed APAC is seeking a data governance professional to support data quality and governance across MES, MEP, and ERP master data. You will map data sources, gather requirements with manufacturing teams, and document critical data elements like work orders, routings, BOMs, and genealogy records.

The role emphasizes translating requirements into data specifications, establishing data quality metrics, and collaborating across manufacturing, IT/GTS, and supply chain to drive governance initiatives

Qualifications

• Understanding of data management principles.

Responsibilities

• Map the current MES data landscape and identify key manufacturing data sources.
• Gather and document business requirements with manufacturing and plant operations stakeholders.
• Document business processes covering critical MEP data elements, including work order release, routing and BOM setup, and genealogy records.
• Produce timely and accurate reporting on MES-to-ERP data flows when required.
• Establish and monitor data quality metrics across MES and MEP data.
• Investigate and help resolve data discrepancies across work orders, routings, genealogy records, and ERP master data.
• Translate manufacturing requirements into clear user stories and data specifications.
• Support the implementation of data governance practices across manufacturing execution.
• Validate MES and MEP data solutions with senior team members to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects across manufacturing, procurement, logistics, supply chain, and IT/GTS, while contributing to training workshops and process improvements.

You'll work across manufacturing, plant operations, supply chain, and technology teams, supporting data quality and governance across work orders, routings, BOMs, genealogy, and production and quality records. What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Excel, along with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Understanding of data management principles and database concepts.
• Analytical and problem-solving capability with close attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across manufacturing, IT/GTS, and supply chain teams.
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion and/or MES platforms.
• Familiarity with MES data structures.
• Coursework involving manufacturing or production data.
