Job summary

FairPrice Group is seeking a junior project manager to support Project Horizon within the PMO of the Supply Chain division. You will assist in defining, executing and monitoring strategic initiatives that boost efficiency and resilience across the network for partners and customers.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, governance, documentation, risk tracking, and stakeholder communication with hands-on exposure to Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Strategy: Support the definition, execution, and timely delivery of high-impact strategic initiatives for Project Horizon within the FPG supply chain vertical.
• PMO Governance & Documentation: Maintain accurate project schedules, trackers, and central documentation to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate cross-functional discussions, workshops, and follow-ups across work streams to maintain alignment and ensure timely completion of actions.
• Reporting & Visibility: Prepare consolidated progress updates, analytical insights, and presentation materials for PMO governance forums and senior leadership.
• Risk & Dependency Management: Track milestones, risks, issues, and cross-functional dependencies, surfacing misalignments early to support mitigation.
• Analysis & Problem Solving: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, developing actionable solutions for supply chain operations.
• Testing & Implementation Support: Coordinate user engagement, requirement gathering, and testing cycles/simulations to ensure programme deliverables are practical and implementable.
• Quality Assurance & Integration: Capture stakeholder feedback, validate project deliverables, and oversee the follow-through on required clarifications to ensure seamless cross-functional integration

Project Horizon is a strategic initiative within FPG Supply Chain that drives key transformational projects and initiatives across the network to improve operational efficiency and resilience, while delivering seamless service and product availability to our wide base of retail partners and customers.

The Project Management Office (PMO) team plays a crucial role to support and facilitate cross-functional work streams within the Supply Chain department, and also owns and drives key items such as programme governance, risk mitigation, and strategic integration. In short, we require a junior project manager who is able to navigate the dynamic demands of large-scale supply chain transformations while keeping the ultimate strategic goal in clear view.

Job Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Strategy: Support the definition, execution, and timely delivery of high-impact strategic initiatives for Project Horizon within the FPG supply chain vertical.
• PMO Governance & Documentation: Maintain accurate project schedules, trackers, and central documentation (e.g., meeting minutes, approvals, version control) to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate cross-functional discussions, workshops, and follow-ups across work streams to maintain alignment and ensure the timely completion of action items.
• Reporting & Visibility: Prepare consolidated progress updates, analytical insights, and presentation materials for PMO governance forums and senior leadership.

Job Requirements

• EXPERIENCE in project coordination, project administration, or supporting cross-functional projects. Familiarity with project management tools ( e. g., Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Jira/Confluence ).
• Basic understanding of supply chain operations, process flows, automation concepts, or system workflows
• Utilise strong analytical skills and a hands-on, pragmatic approach to deliver measurable results
• Excellent stakeholder management skills to manage senior and cross-functional stakeholders
• Ability to coordinate tasks across various stakeholders, manage project progress and achieve goals in a timely manner
