Job summary

MIJ Hub in Singapore seeks a dedicated Special Needs Educator to design, implement, and evaluate individualized education plans for diverse learners, ages 4 to 40. You will work with therapists, counselors, and families to tailor instruction and monitor progress in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You will deliver differentiated lessons using assistive technologies, maintain detailed records, and foster an inclusive, nurturing classroom.

Qualifications

• Design, implement, and evaluate individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with parents.
• Foster an inclusive, nurturing learning environment for diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement personalized IEPs with specialists and families.
• Develop differentiated lesson plans and adapt teaching methods.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and document progress.
• Maintain detailed records of student performance and progress.
• Implement positive behavior management and ensure a safe learning space.
• For SC: Opening/Closing shifts and classroom prep duties.
