Key Responsibilities
- GEO Strategy and AI Discoverability – Support GEO strategies to improve visibility across generative search, answer engines, AI assistants, and search‑led digital journeys.
- Translate SEO foundations into AI‑native optimization, including entity clarity, semantic structure, structured answers, and topic authority.
- Identify opportunities to improve how scientific, medical, brand, and corporate content is discovered and represented by AI‑driven platforms.
- Technical SEO and AI‑Ready Content Optimization – Assess web pages for technical SEO and GEO readiness, including crawlability, indexability, structured data, metadata, semantic HTML, internal linking, headings, accessibility, and content clarity.
- Identify platform‑level improvements required to make content easier for search engines and AI systems to parse.
- Work with web, content, and compliance teams to ensure high‑priority content is available in machine‑readable formats rather than only in PDFs, images, or non‑parseable assets.
- Support improvement of structured data, schema markup, metadata, content architecture, and crawlability.
- Measurement, Reporting, and Insights – Define and monitor GEO indicators such as AI citation presence, answer engine visibility, query coverage, content discoverability, and AI‑influenced engagement.
- Use GA4, Google Search Console, SEO platforms, content analytics, and emerging GEO tools to identify opportunities and track performance.
- Track metrics such as AI citations, share of answer, citation source quality, branded and unbranded visibility, crawl behavior, organic search performance, content engagement, and conversion to owned web experiences.
- Provide regular insights to the teams.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in SEO, technical SEO, content optimization, web analytics, digital marketing, or related digital experience roles.
- Strong understanding of how search engines crawl, index, rank, and interpret content.
- Practical understanding of generative AI search behavior, AI answer engines, large language models, and emerging GEO practices.
- Experience working with SEO and analytics tools such as Semrush, Google Search Console, GA4/GA360, ScreamingFrog, Adobe LLM Optimizer, or equivalent platforms.
- Familiarity with structured data, schema.org, metadata, semantic HTML, sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, hreflang, internal linking, and page experience signals.
- Ability to interpret analytics data and translate findings into clear business and content recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work across technical, commercial, regulatory, and agency teams.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple language.
- High attention to detail and comfort working in a regulated healthcare or life sciences environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
- Understanding of promotional and non‑promotional content boundaries in healthcare or pharma digital environments.
- Experience with CMS platforms such as AEM, WordPress VIP, or similar enterprise web platforms.
- Exposure to GEO, AI visibility, generative search monitoring, or answer engine analytics tools.
- Experience with multilingual or multi‑market web ecosystems.
- Familiarity with content taxonomy, ontology, controlled vocabularies, and medical terminology governance.

- Increased consistency and accuracy of representation in AI‑generated answers.
- Improved technical SEO and GEO readiness across priority web pages.
- Reduction in content formats that are difficult for AI systems to parse, such as image‑based tables or PDF‑only critical information.

- Stronger collaboration between web, analytics, regulatory, and commercial stakeholders.
- Clear, actionable reporting that connects GEO performance with business and customer experience outcomes.
