Job summary

HANAE ITALIAN PTE. LTD. invites a skilled Sous Chef to join our senior management team and lead Back of House operations for a new family-style Korean-Italian fusion concept opening in CBD in 4Q 2026.

You will bring proven expertise in butchery, filleting, grilling, Western cooking, noodle and pasta making, and will mentor juniors while managing rostering, costs, and inventory to uphold MICHELIN-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Skilled in butchery, filleting, grilling and general food preparation.
• Proven ability in Western cuisine, noodle and pasta making.
• Proven track record of innovative dish creations.
• Strong leadership and a team player.
• Willingness to learn and uphold MICHELIN quality standards.
• Able to guide juniors effectively.
• Experience in rostering, cost management, ordering and inventory tracking.
• Languages: strong command of spoken and written English.

Requirements

• - Established skills in butchering, filleting, grilling, and other general food preparation skills
• - Established skills in Western food preparations, noodle-making, pasta-making
• - Proven record of innovative dish creations
• - Strong leadership and a team player
• - Willingness to learn and stamina to upkeep with a Head Chef trained in MICHELIN quality standard
• - Able to guide juniors well
• - Experience in staff rostering, cost management, ingredients ordering and inventory tracking
• - Languages: strong command of spoken and written English
