Job summary

Starter Lab in Singapore invites skilled bakers to join our production bakery in Tai Seng. You will contribute to daily and weekly production, measuring and mixing ingredients with precision to uphold our signature sourdough quality.

We value passion for baking, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit. Some sourdough experience is preferred, and we offer training for the right candidate who loves real, wholesome food.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional baking or pastry experience, or 2 years of culinary experience.
• Professional, positive attitude and can-do spirit.
• Deep passion for baking and genuine curiosity to learn.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Some sourdough experience preferred; if not, training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Executive Baker and team to plan daily and weekly production.
• Measure and mix ingredients precisely, following Starter Lab's recipes.
• Shape products by hand with care and consistency.
• Maintain accuracy in scaling and ensure precise baking.
• Monitor each stage: mix, proof, shape, bake, with attention to detail.
• Support cleanliness, organization, and smooth bakery workflow.
