Job summary

NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a procurement professional in Singapore to source, qualify, and manage suppliers for high-volume programmes.

You will issue RFQs, collect quotations, and perform side-by-side comparisons on price, lead time, and quality. You will build detailed BOM cost analyses covering materials, machining, tooling, and overheads. Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in SCM, procurement, business admin, engineering, or related field.
• Experience in costing, sourcing, procurement, or purchasing in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to source precision machined parts or sheet metal components.
• Familiar with RFQ/RFP processes and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Source, qualify, and evaluate suppliers for high-volume programmes including machined parts, sheet metal, and assemblies.
• Manage RFQs end to end: issue drawings, collect quotes, compare price, lead time and quality.
• Build BOM-level cost analyses and product cost breakdowns for materials and overheads.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to meet targets.
• Track material price trends and drive cost-down opportunities with suppliers and engineers.
• Manage many part numbers and suppliers in ERP/MRP; keep lead times, pricing, and revisions accurate.
• Build supplier relationships and maintain performance records on quality, delivery, cost.
• Support procurement planning, budgeting, and inventory planning to avoid shortages.
• Ensure compliance with sourcing and purchasing policies.

Job Responsibilities

• Source, qualify, and evaluate suppliers and vendors for high-volume, multi-part programmes, including machined components, sheet metal fabrication, and finished assemblies.


• Manage RFQs end to end: issue drawings and specifications, collect quotations, and run side-by-side comparisons on price, lead time, and quality capability.


• Build detailed BOM-level cost analyses and product cost breakdowns covering material, machining, finishing, tooling, and overheads.


• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to meet cost targets and production requirements.


• Track raw material price trends (e.g. aluminium, stainless steel, mild steel) and drive cost-down and value-engineering opportunities with suppliers and engineers.


• Manage a large volume of part numbers and suppliers concurrently, keeping lead times, pricing, and revisions accurate in the ERP/MRP system.


• Build strong supplier relationships and maintain performance records covering quality, delivery, and cost.


• Support procurement planning, budgeting, and inventory planning to prevent shortages and excess stock.


• Ensure compliance with company sourcing and purchasing policies.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent.


• Minimum 2 years of experience in costing, sourcing, procurement, or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.


• Proven experience sourcing precision machined parts or sheet metal components.


• Comfortable handling large numbers of parts, drawings, and suppliers at the same time.


• Strong knowledge of BOM costing and product cost analysis.


• Familiar with RFQ/RFP processes, supplier selection, and vendor management.


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems.


• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to read engineering drawings is an advantage.
