Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or MBBS is required.
• Accredited by recognized institutions (e.g. DMU).
• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• To perform clinical imaging duties in ultrasound.

• To render prompt and courteous service delivery to internal and external customers.
• To ensure efficient patient turnaround time per examination.
• To plan, organize and prioritize assigned tasks to complete on time.

• To ensure quality assurance programmes are implemented and observed as well as initiate system improvement within the section.
• To deliver accurate and speedy imaging outputs at all times.
• To produce desired results effectively within given duration and allocated resources.
• To handle difficult situations like patients’ complaints and queries within the department/ section promptly and effectively.
• To render prompt and courteous service delivery to external and internal customers.
• To ensure efficient patient turnaround time per examination.
• To plan, organize and prioritize assigned tasks such that all are completed effectively and on time.
• To adhere to safe work practices especially safety and infection control.

Job Specification/Requirements

Qualification:

• Diploma/Degree in Diagnostic Radiography / Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
• Accredited by recognized institutions/organizations e.g. Diploma/Degree in Medical Ultrasonography, Graduate diploma in medical Ultrasonography (DMU).
• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years experience in clinical ultrasound.
