Job summary

GECO Asia in Singapore seeks a Sonographer/Radiographer to provide safe and accurate ultrasound imaging services. You will perform ultrasound examinations, review patient history, and ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining equipment.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Radiography or Sonography with 3–5 years of ultrasound experience; senior candidates may be considered with additional qualifications. 5.5 days work week and a professional patient experience are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Science / Diagnostic Radiography / Sonography from a recognized institution.
• At least 3-5 years of working experience in ultrasound and radiation scans e.g. in Echocardiography.
• Senior position possible if appropriate years of experience and higher qualification.
• Proficient in the use of ultrasound/radiation equipment and software.
• Good patient care skills.
• 5.5 days' work week.

Responsibilities

• Provide ultrasound / radiation imaging services to patients, ensuring safety and proper care and usage of equipment.
• Review patient medical history and supporting clinical information; conduct clinical assessment.
• Use appropriate instructions and techniques for cardiac diagnostic tests.
• Perform quality control to ensure equipment functions to specifications.
• Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of ultrasound equipment and accessories in the work area.

Location: Singapore

We are looking for a Sonographer to provide safe and accurate ultrasound imaging services to patients. The role involves performing ultrasound examinations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a positive and professional patient experience.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Science / Diagnostic Radiography / Sonography from a recognized institution
• At least 3-5 years of working experience in ultrasound and radiation scans e.g. in Echocardiography
• Candidate can be considered for a senior position if he/she possesses relevant years of experience with higher qualification
• Proficient in the use of ultrasound/radiation equipment and software
• Good patient care skills
• 5.5 days' work week

Roles and Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for providing ultrasound / radiation imaging services to the patient, ensuring the patient's safety and proper care and usage of equipment.
• Review patient medical history, supporting clinical information, and conducting clinical assessment for patients.
• Use appropriate instructions and apply appropriate techniques when providing cardiac diagnostic test services to patients.
• Performs quality control activities to ensure the equipment is functioning according to specifications
• Be responsible for the proper functioning and maintenance of ultrasound equipment and accessories within the designated work area.
