Job summary

Beyondsoft Singapore is seeking an experienced Software/Systems Architect to own the full architecture across applications, middleware, data, networking and security. You will review current systems, identify gaps, and drive fixes through delivery, while leading system integration and APIs.

You will act as the final escalation point for high availability and security requirements, guiding CI/CD practices and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.

Job description

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years of hands on software or system development, with at least 3 years as an architect.
• Led the architecture of at least 2 systems delivered from start to finish.
• Still codes and debugs hands on (e.g. Java, C#/.NET, C++ or Python) across OS, network and application layers.
• Strong in system integration (APIs, message brokers), Linux/Windows, virtualisation, containers and networking.
• Good knowledge of security, privacy and compliance.
• Able to explain technical issues clearly to management, customers and vendors.
• Good to have: experience in government, defence or critical infrastructure projects, and certifications like TOGAF or CISSP.
