Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a junior Mechanical Draftsperson for a 1-year contract (renewable/convertible) at the Boon Lay location in Singapore. You will prepare and modify mechanical drawings using SolidWorks and assist engineers with technical drawings and documentation.

Strong Microsoft Office skills and a basic understanding of mechanical drawings are required; training will be provided for suitable candidates, including fresh graduates.

Qualifications

• Minimum Nitec in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology or a related discipline.
• Basic to good knowledge of SolidWorks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Candidates without working experience are welcome to apply (Training will be provided for suitable candidates).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify mechanical drawings using SolidWorks.
• Assist engineers in preparing and updating technical drawings and documentation.
• Prepare technical documents, reports and project documentation using Microsoft Office.
• Maintain and organise project drawings, technical documents and records.
• Support the engineering team with drafting, documentation and other engineering-related tasks.
• Ensure drawings and documents are updated accurately and maintained according to project requirements.
