Job summary

B2G ENERGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Engineer to oversee the installation and completion of Solar PV projects in Singapore. You will manage daily installation activities, supervise subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality across the project lifecycle.

The role requires reading PV layouts and diagrams, coordinating equipment, and preparing handover documentation. Fresh graduates with relevant Solar PV exposure may be considered; BESS knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Knowledge of Solar PV system design is essential.
• Able to read Solar PV layouts, electrical single-line diagrams and technical drawings.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site activities is preferred.
• Candidates must provide references or a portfolio of previous Solar PV projects.
• Knowledge or experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or PVsyst is advantageous.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Must be legally authorised to work in Singapore.
• Fresh graduates with relevant Solar PV qualifications, internships or project experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise daily Solar PV installation activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site workers to ensure efficient progress.
• Monitor project schedules, workmanship, safety and quality.
• Review Solar PV layouts, single-line diagrams and construction drawings.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or installation issues.
• Prepare progress reports, site records and handover documents.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings and site safety requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers and suppliers.
