Job summary

CYBERBOT (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced QA Tester/Engineer to review software and develop effective testing strategies and plans.

You will perform manual tests, troubleshoot issues, analyze results, and ensure readiness before deployment to live environments. The role involves collaborating with development teams and testing for both web and mobile apps to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science/engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years in quality engineering or related roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication with software teams.
• Analytical approach to troubleshooting and time management.
• Experience testing Web and Mobile (Android/iOS) applications.

Job description

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced QA Tester / Engineer to review software/applications and develop effective strategies and test plans.

You will be involved in conducting manual tests, troubleshooting potential issues, analysing results and data. Before deploying the software/application to live, you will need to ensure that it is suitable to be used.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review business/software requirements and provide inputs to improve quality.
• Create and design application and software testing processes, test cases & test data.
• Execute manual tests, monitoring system, and software functionality.
• Ensure offerings are entirely functional and provide quality assurance for software products.
• Testing and problem-solving of various tasks that work towards a development process.
• Advise best practices and optimizations throughout testing and bug-fixing processes.
• Develop test plans and new approaches for seeking outbugs and exploits in end-user-facing applications.
• Establish and implement rigorous reporting andautomated monitoring systems.
• Implement feedback and changes whenever possible.
• Ensure the defects raised are identified, tracked and resolved in a timely manner.

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, of Professional Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication) or equivalent
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in quality engineering or relevant roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills working with software development teams
• Analytical approach to troubleshooting
• Time management skills and organizational skills
• Experienced in Web and Mobile (Android, iOS) Application testing
