Job summary

Astek Group in Singapore is seeking a skilled Software QA/Testing professional to join our quality assurance team. You will design and execute tests across functional, integration, and non-functional areas, collaborate with developers, and ensure product quality throughout the SDLC.

You will build automated tests and frameworks, track defects, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software testing, including test planning, test case design, test execution, and defect management.
• Hands-on experience with functional, non-functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Experience with test automation tools, frameworks, and scripting languages for automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, testing principles, and best practices.
• Experience using defect tracking and test management tools.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test cases based on business and functional requirements.
• Perform various testing activities including functional, integration, system, regression, user acceptance, and non-functional testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects while collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot software anomalies to ensure product stability and performance.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality assurance perspective.
• Monitor test execution progress, report testing outcomes, and ensure timely resolution of quality-related issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for testing methodologies, automation practices, and QA processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery processes.
• Ensure compliance with established quality standards, testing procedures, and best practices.
