Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a QA Engineer / Software Test Engineer to translate requirements into comprehensive test scenarios and ensure quality across a suite of enterprise solutions.

You will design test plans, execute diverse testing types, and collaborate with developers and analysts to drive defect resolution. The role involves supporting UAT, overseeing testing during releases and migrations, and maintaining thorough testing records.

Qualifications

• Experience in software quality assurance and testing for enterprise-grade solutions.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience in functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Mobile app testing experience preferred.
• Experience working in Agile or collaborative delivery environments.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role: QA Engineer / Software Test Engineer

JD:

• Analyse functional and technical requirements and translate them into test scenarios and test cases
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing
• Conduct API and database testing to validate system integrations and data accuracy
• Execute manual and automated testing where applicable
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects throughout the development lifecycle
• Perform data validation and reconciliation for data migration activities
• Validate migrated data for integrity, accuracy, and completeness
• Work closely with developers and business analysts to investigate and resolve defects
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test preparation and defect management
• Support testing activities during system releases, migration, and cutover
• Maintain test evidence, defect reports, test results, and testing documentation
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement
• Ensure testing activities follow defined QA processes and testing best practices
• Take ownership of assigned testing scope and contribute to end-to-end delivery

Required Skills & Experience
