Job summary

Exasoft Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Software Tester/QA in Singapore to design and execute comprehensive test suites across functional, integration and end-to-end scenarios.

You will validate API interfaces, track defects, and collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure product quality. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience, strong hands-on API testing, and expertise in test design, execution and management within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, review, and execute test cases, scenarios, and plans.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, review, and execute comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on business and technical requirements.


• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing of software applications.


• Conduct API testing to validate functionality, reliability, performance, and data integrity of application interfaces.


• Identify, log, track, and manage software defects throughout the testing lifecycle using defect-tracking tools.


• Perform defect analysis, coordinate with development teams for issue resolution, and validate fixes through retesting.


• Manage test execution activities, maintain test documentation, and report testing progress, results, and quality metrics.


• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure product quality.


• Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, test estimation, and release validation activities.


• Ensure adequate test coverage and adherence to software quality standards and testing processes.


• Prepare test reports and communicate risks, issues, and testing status to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.


• Strong hands-on experience in API Testing and Software Testing.


• Expertise in Test Case Design, Test Execution, and Test Management.


• Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, and system testing methodologies.


• Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar.


• Experience in API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.


• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and software testing methodologies.


• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.


• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
