Job summary

Avensys Consulting in Singapore is seeking a Software Test Automation Engineer to develop and execute automated test solutions across devices, UI, embedded systems and back-office applications. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering and at least 5 years of software testing experience, with 3+ years on Windows OS.

You will work with Jira, Xray, Confluence and GitLab CI/CD in a collaborative SDLC environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test solutions.

• Identify, document and track defects through resolution.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing and automation processes.

JOB TYPE:

24 Months Renewable contract

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute automated test solutions.
• Perform testing across devices, UI, embedded systems and/or back-office applications.
• Design and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Execute SIT, UAT, functional, regression and performance testing as required.
• Identify, document and track defects through to resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business teams and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• 3+ years of testing experience on Windows OS.
• Experience in test automation development and execution for devices, UI/embedded systems, or back-office applications.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Unix/Linux, Embedded or Cloud testing experience.
• Testing certification.
• Experience with Micro-payments / Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) / Smart Card systems.
• SIT, UAT and Performance Testing experience.Experience with Jira, Xray, Confluence, GitLab CI/CD or similar DevSecOps tools.
• API security testing and microservices security validation.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
