Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Singapore is seeking a Software Test Automation Engineer to join the Eggplant Performance team. You will maintain and extend regression tests across Studio and Test Controller REST APIs, validate migrations, and test across Web, TCP/IP, Citrix and other engines using C++, Java, and .NET.

The role requires strong Python, TDD, and test frameworks like PyTest, Google Test, JUnit, plus Git, and familiarity with Eggplant tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters in Computer Engineering/Computer Science with 3 to 5 years of Software QA and test automation scripting.
• Strong Python skills with ecosystem knowledge to create and maintain production test suites.
• Solid experience with Test Driven Development and testing pyramid concepts.
• Experience with frameworks: Google Test, PyTest, UnitTest, JUnit.
• Exposure to C++, Java and C# is beneficial.
• Git for version control.
• Experience with Eggplant Performance and Eggplant Functional is a plus.

Eggplant Performance is a multi-language Windows performance testing platform (C++, Java, C#, Python) used to load-test applications across web, TCP, Citrix, and custom protocols. We're looking for a Software Test Automation Engineer to work across our platform to ensure a high quality product.

Qualifications

Required skills:

• Bachelor/Masters in Computer Engineering/Computer Science with 3 to 5 years of experience in Software QA and writing test automation scripts
• Good Python skills, including good working knowledge of the ecosystem (uv etc) to create and maintain a production test suite
• Strong experience in Test Driven Development, with knowledge of testing concepts on the testing pyramid
• Previous experience in using frameworks such as Google Test, PyTest, UnitTest and JUnit
• Some exposure to C++, Java and C# would be highly beneficial.
• Git for source control.
• Added advantage with experience in using Eggplant Performance and Eggplant Functional software.

Bonus Skills

• Knowledge of agile working methods.
• Experience with build orchestration tools (Ant, MSBuild) across multilanguage codebases.
• Familiarity with performance/load testing concepts (virtual users, protocol-level test scripting).
• Experience testing SWIG or other cross-language bound interfaces.
• OSS license compliance literacy (GPL/LGPL/reciprocal license families and why they matter for a shipped commercial product).
• Experience directing AI coding assistants on real production codebases, writing scoped test plans/test, critically reviewing AI-generated diffs, and knowing when to trust vs. verify.
