Job summary

Keysight Technologies Singapore (Sales) Pte. Ltd. seeks a Software Test Automation Engineer to advance Eggplant Performance platform testing across C++, Java, and .NET environments.

In this role you will maintain regression suites for Studio and REST APIs, ensure stability across migrations, and validate tests against multiple virtual user types. You’ll work with Python-based tooling and modern test frameworks in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering/Computer Science with 3–5 years of QA automation experience.
• Strong Python development and production test suite maintenance.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Google Test, PyTest, UnitTest, JUnit).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend the regression test suite for Studio and Test Controller REST APIs.
• Validate behaviour stays consistent across major migrations (e.g., API framework changes).
• Test across Virtual User types (Web, TCP/IP, Citrix, Custom) and engine implementations (C++, Java, .NET).
• Distinguish real regressions from environmental/test-infra noise and report clearly.
• Keep test environments and baselines clean and reproducible.
• Verify builds, installers, and packaged output work post-build.

Eggplant Performance is a multi-language Windows performance testing platform (C++, Java, C#, Python) used to load-test applications across web, TCP, Citrix, and custom protocols. We're looking for a Software Test Automation Engineer to work across our platform to ensure a high quality product.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend the regression test suite for Studio and Test Controller REST APIs.

Qualifications

Required skills:

• Bachelor/Masters in Computer Engineering/Computer Science with 3 to 5 years of experience in Software QA and writing test automation scripts


• GoodPython skills, including good working knowledge of the ecosystem (uv etc) to create and maintain a production test suite


• Strong experience in Test Driven Development, with knowledge of testing concepts on the testing pyramid


• Previous experience in using frameworks such as Google Test, PyTest, UnitTest and JUnit


• Some exposure to C++, Java and C# would be highly beneficial.


• Git for source control.

• Added advantage with experience in using Eggplant Performance and Eggplant Functional software.

Bonus skills:

• Knowledge of agile working methods.


• Experience with build orchestration tools (Ant, MSBuild) across multilanguage codebases.


• Familiarity with performance/load testing concepts (virtual users, protocol-level test scripting).


• Experience testing SWIG or other cross-language bound interfaces.


• OSS license compliance literacy (GPL/LGPL/reciprocal license families and why they matter for a shipped commercial product).


• Experience directing AI coding assistants on real production codebases, writing scoped test plans/test, critically reviewing AI-generated diffs, and knowing when to trust vs. verify.
