Job summary

Avensys Consulting PTE. LTD. in Singapore is hiring a Software Quality Engineer to design, develop, and execute robust test scenarios for SIT and UAT, and to strengthen automation and test strategy.

You will collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders in an Agile environment, participate in sprint ceremonies, and ensure quality across projects while enjoying a collaborative work culture and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on software testing experience.
• Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• Proven ability to gather requirements and analyze user stories.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute robust test scenarios for SIT and UAT.
• Build and enhance test scripts aligned with project requirements and best practices
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and user stories
• Perform requirement analysis and contribute to test strategy and automation approach
• Provide regular updates and effectively manage client and stakeholder expectations
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast‑paced delivery environment
• Ensure automation coverage, stability, and continuous improvement of test assets
