Job summary

Knovel Engineering Pte. Ltd. invites motivated iSTEM students to join its QA team as Software Quality Assurance Interns. You will collaborate with engineers to strengthen testing skills, support both manual and automated testing, and help deliver robust software used by real users.

This internship offers hands-on exposure to SDLC, testing frameworks, and API tools in a fast-paced team environment where you can learn, experiment, and contribute ideas while maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Higher Nitec from the School of Electronics & Info-comm Technology or School of Engineering, or a Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of programming/scripting languages.
• Basic knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Basic hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
• Familiarity with test case design, types of testing and flexibility in solution finding approaches.
• Basic API concepts and basic API testing tools.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing manual tests to ensure software functionality and quality.
• Draft and maintain clear and comprehensive test cases and test plans.
• Learn and apply QA processes, tools, and techniques for testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Develop basic automation scripts using appropriate programming languages and testing frameworks/architecture.
• Identify, document, and report bugs and test findings accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare user guides and relevant documentation for internal and external users.
