Job summary

Zenika Singapore seeks a QA Engineer to work with developers, product owners, designers, and clients to ensure web portals are reliable, intuitive, and production-ready.

You will design and execute automated web tests using Katalon/Selenium, perform manual exploratory testing, and drive quality through CI/CD integration and strong collaboration with the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on QA experience with web portals/web applications.
• Experience designing/maintaining automated web UI tests (Katalon/Selenium).
• Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS, browser behavior, and common defects.
• Balance between manual and automated testing with smart automation scope.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and working with developers in sprints.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail oriented.
• Good communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database testing; cloud exposure (AWS/Azure) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work hands on within cross functional teams to test and validate web portals and browser-based applications used by real users at scale.
• Design, develop, and execute automated web test cases for critical user journeys, ensuring regression coverage.
• Perform manual exploratory testing on web portals to uncover usability, edge-case, and integration issues.
• Translate user stories into clear test scenarios and acceptance criteria for web UI behavior.
• Create and maintain test automation scripts using Katalon, Selenium, or equivalent frameworks.
• Identify, report, and track defects with reproduction steps; collaborate with developers to drive fixes.
• Execute API and database-level validation to ensure data integrity across web workflows.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by running and maintaining automated tests as part of continuous delivery.
• Continuously improve web QA practices, test coverage, and automation reliability.
