GAN TECK KAR INVESTMENTS PTE LTD is seeking a software developer to design, develop, and deliver complex business solutions. You will build integrations with third-party apps via REST API and create business apps using ASP.NET Core, Blazor Server, and SQL Server, while providing technical guidance to other departments.

Applicants should have 2+ years of development experience, strong OOP, and a good grasp of relational databases; Dynamics BC 365 and Oracle NetSuite experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software design & development experience
• Hands on experience with ASP.NET Core and MS SQL Server
• Strong understanding of relational database design
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central 365 and programming in C/AL is a plus
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite and programming JavaScript is a plus
• Adaptability to fast-paced environment and commitment to long-term quality

Job duties & responsibilities:

• To design, develop, and deliver complex requirements to accomplish business goals.
• Build integration with third party application using REST API
• Build business application using ASP.NET Core, Blazor Server, SQL Server developers while being fully hands-on with design and development work.
• Provide technical guidance to another department.
• Conduct code reviews to address quality, standards compliance, reusability and ease of maintenance, Operational Readiness Reviews, and support gating and review signoffs for solution design.
• Provide technical support to promptly resolve escalated incidents/outages.
• Aim for defect-free programming, create, and maintain quality code, provide support during testing cycles and post-production deployment, engage in peer code reviews.

Job requirements:

• Prefer 2+ years of experience in software design & development, including a clear understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Hands on experience in developing solutions with ASP.Net Core and MS SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of relation database design.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central 365 and programming in C/A is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite and programming JavaScript is a plus.
• Love the challenges and are confident in your ability to bring clarity and direction to ambiguous problem space.
• Work well in fast paced environment while deeply investing in long term quality and efficiency.
• B.S or higher degree in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
