Job summary

SCIENTE in Singapore is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable software solutions in an Agile environment. You will provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, and drive high-quality software delivery.

You will design RESTful APIs and microservices, lead code reviews, build CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with architects, product teams, QA, and DevOps to ensure reliable deployments and strong system design.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• At least 3+ years of technical leadership in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong proficiency in Java, C#, or TypeScript (Angular/React/Next.js).
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Solid knowledge of SDLC, OOP, and secure coding practices.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Git, and automated testing.
• Experience with MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
• Strong system design, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and mentoring abilities.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevSecOps.
• Experience with performance, reliability, and benchmarking.
