Job summary

mi equipment pte. ltd. designs and builds die bonder equipment and related automation solutions for semiconductor customers. The role focuses on software, control systems and hardware integration, with hands-on testing and documentation, plus supporting customers on modifications.

You will lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and ensure quality, timeliness and proper engineering documentation across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Science fields.
• Strong software programming and electronics design.
• Proficiency in Visual C++, Visual C#, and VB.NET.
• Good teamwork, self-motivation, and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Innovative, creative, and hardworking with leadership and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to support customers and learn new challenges.
• Knowledge of semiconductor processes or IR tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software, control systems and hardware for automated machines.
• Provide application integration test and documentation.
• Support customers with machine software and hardware, and evaluate modification requests.
• Analyze and implement customer requirements.
• Define software development process and hardware qualification.
• Plan and manage technical projects to meet quality and timelines.
• Collaborate to evaluate hardware-software interfaces and system performance.
• Prepare engineering documentation, SOPs and guidelines.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and product performance.
• Train and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Provide technical expertise in software programming.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by the company.

Job description

• Design and develop software, control system & hardware for automated machines




• Provide application integration test and documentation




• Provide assistances and machine software & hardware support to customers as well as evaluation to find solutions on customer’s modification requests




• To analyze and implement customer requirements




• Responsible for software development process definition and hardware qualification




• Plan and manage technical projects or tasks to meet expectations on quality and timeliness




• Work as a team to evaluate interface between hardware and software as well as the operational and performance requirements of the overall system




• Perform proper engineering documentation, SOP and guideline




• Identify and implement process improvement to enhance software development efficiency and product performance




• Train and mentor junior and mid-level engineers




• Provide technical expertise in software programming




• Undertake other dutiesand responsibilities, which may be assigned by the Company from time to time with on timely and complete closure

Job Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Science in Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechatronics/ Computer with second upper class or above




• Strong in software programming and electronics/electrical design




• Well versed in Visual C++, Visual C#, VB.NET programming language




• Good working relationship and positive work attitude, self-motivated with ability to work
  independently and in team environment
