Job summary

GovTech Singapore is hiring for the Singpass team to help build Singapore’s national digital ecosystem. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, deploying secure and reliable code and iterating on features for Singpass with Go/TypeScript/Java.

You’ll manage cloud deployments and collaborate with UX, cybersecurity specialists, and engineers to deliver trusted digital services. You should bring a proactive mindset, versatility across the system, strong CS fundamentals, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with at least one modern programming language (Go/Java/TypeScript/Python).
• Portfolio of projects demonstrating ability to build and ship software.
• Evidence of a proactive mindset and leading a project or learning a complex skill.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from ideation to production deployment.
• Develop and iterate on features for Singpass with a focus on security and usability.
• Write robust, maintainable, secure-by-design code (Go/TypeScript/Java).
• Learn cloud-native engineering and manage cloud deployments (AWS/GCC).
• Collaborate with UX designers, cybersecurity specialists, and engineers to meet user needs.
