Job summary

JOBLINE RESOURCES PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled software engineer to develop and maintain thick client applications and APIs using C# and WPF, with strong MSSQL design and optimization skills.

You will design, implement, and validate database solutions, and contribute to test plans, test cases, and reports. The role also involves supporting SIT, OSAT, and production deployments, configuring laptops/workstations, and troubleshooting integration issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Relevant software development experience in enterprise or mission-critical systems.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain thick client applications and APIs using C# and WPF.
• Design, develop, and optimize database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
• Prepare, execute, and review test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), Operational Site Acceptance Testing (OSAT), and production deployment activities.
• Configure and prepare project laptops and workstations for testing and production environments.
• Troubleshoot software, database, and system integration issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and authority sign-off documentation.
• Develop and enhance VSS client functionalities, including:
  • Customized Alarm Manager
  • Authorization and management of Live View Preset Views
• Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and onsite personnel to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant software development experience in enterprise or mission-critical systems.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong proficiency in C# .NET development.
• Strong proficiency in Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) for thick client application development.
• Experience in API development and integration.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), including database design, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in software testing methodologies and test documentation.
• Familiarity with system deployment, application configuration, and production support.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of video streaming protocols.
• Experience with Milestone Video Management System (VMS).
• Knowledge of video surveillance, security, or command-and-control systems.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, OSAT, or site deployment activities.
