Job summary

Zenith Infotech is seeking an experienced Software Engineer in Singapore to design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and AWS cloud technologies.

You will translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, collaborate with users, project teams and vendors, and contribute to testing, QA and deployment. Strong Java EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular, REST/SOAP, and database skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience across analysis, design, development and QA.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java EE and Java technologies.
• Proficiency with Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with Angular/AngularJS or similar UI frameworks.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP Web Services and XML.
• Experience with JBoss/WildFly and Apache/IIS.
• Experience with MS SQL, DB2 or Oracle.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SQL.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
• OOAD knowledge.

Technical Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems analysis, design, development, implementation and QA.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java Enterprise Edition / Java technologies.
• Proficiency in Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate and/or JPA.
• Experience with Angular/AngularJS, jQuery or equivalent UI frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, Web Services, AJAX and XML.
• Experience with JBoss/WildFly and Apache/IIS or equivalent web servers.
• Good experience with MS SQL, DB2 and/or Oracle databases.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SQL.
• Experience with Linux/Red Hat Linux, Unix and Windows environments.
• Experience with Eclipse/JDeveloper and application testing tools.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage project/vendor activities.

Preferred: Experience in COBOL, CICS and DB2.
