Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Singapore seeks a Senior Security Engineer III to join the Cybersecurity & Technology Controls. You will deliver secure software solutions, tackle complex security challenges, and drive resilient systems using AI-assisted tooling.

You will code in Python/Java, contribute to CI/CD, respond to incidents, and collaborate across teams to strengthen platform security and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of applied security engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience in application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to support security workflows with validation.
• Proficient in Python or Java; strong coding and debugging in a corporate environment.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and data handling.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute secure software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Write secure, high-quality code in at least one modern language.
• Identify hidden data patterns to improve code hygiene and architecture.
• Use enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate security analysis and vulnerability docs.
• Apply AI-assisted practices in SDLC to enhance security testing and traceability.
• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot, and implement fixes to restore stability.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve performance, reliability, and resiliency.
• Automate to reduce manual toil in the SDLC.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
